Thousands of Beni Suef residents rallied at the funeral of late police sergeant Mahmoud Abdel Moneim.
Three gunmen randomly fired on three policemen outside a bank in Sphinx square, killing one and injuring the other two. The gunmen fled the scene after the attack.
