Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri met on Tuesday with United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly and Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awadh Asseri.
Plumbly said that he discussed with Berri the ongoing dialogue in Lebanon, announcing support for UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which was intended to resolve the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict.
Berri later met with the Saudi ambassador.
They discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the Arab region.
