Alexandria Port authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle unlicensed pills into the country.
Port officials received a tip that a container coming from Hong Kong held cargo different than what its owner had declared.
Upon searching the shipment, security forces discovered that it was in fact filled with 10 million banned stimulant pills.
The pills were confiscated and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
