A big explosion shook Hotel "Majestic" in Casablanca city, Morocco, in the wee hours of Tuesday, leaving two people in critical condition.

"Russia Today" channel reported that the blast has reportedly occurred when a big water heater exploded.

The explosion caused material damage, according to Moroccan media outlets.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire that broke out after the explosion before it swept through nearby buildings.
