The firefighters managed to contain a blaze that erupted on Saturday at an unlicensed factory for plastic materials in Damanhour, Beheira.

No casualties were reported.

The owner of the 120-square meter factory blamed a short circuit for the accident, telling the police he accuse nobody.

A large amount of plastic products, machineries and furniture were reported damaged in the fire.

The public prosecution opened an investigation into the incident.
