Bodies of 9 Egyptians killed in Libya arrive home

Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zayed said that the bodies of the nine Egyptians killed in Libya arrived here Thursday.

He further underlined that nine out of thirteen Egyptians killed were identified, adding that they were killed in Bani Walid town.

They arrived on board of a plane allocated by the Libyan Presidential Council.

Abu Zayed reiterated that the Foreign Ministry hails the role played by the Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez al Seraj in facilitating the return of the Egyptians' bodies in cooperation with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya Mohamed Abu Bakr.

Measures are underway to return the rest of the bodies home as soon as possible, he underscored.
