A makeshift bomb was defused Saturday under an electricity pylon in one of the Gharbiya governorate's villages.
Acting upon a tip-off on finding a suspicious package, security forces and sappers rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.
No casualties were reported during the dismantling operation.
The Prosecution was notified more investigations.
