Bomb experts have successfully defused a primitive bomb that folded in bag near Mahkama Square in Heliopolis, a security source told MENA

The security members found a bomb inside a black bag while combing the surroundings of a blast of a primitive bomb that occurred on Monday morning targeting a traffic kiosk, a security source told MENA.

Security forces are investigating eyewitnesses and the cameras in the square will be reviewed to reach any clues that might help in identifying the perpetrators.

Two police officers were injured in a blast that took place in the morning near Mahkama Square in Heliopolis.
