A locally-made bomb went off at the train tracks between Sharqiya and Ismailia cities on Friday, a security source said.
No casualties were reported in the explosion, the source told MENA.
Civil defense forces and bomb experts rushed to the scene to comb the whole area fearing the presence of other explosives, the source said.
