An explosive charge went off on Tuesday at the building of Administrative Prosecution in Abu Kbeir, Sharqiya governorate.

Unidentified gunmen planted the bomb that damaged the outer gate of the building and its windows.

No casualties were reported.

Bomb squads have moved to the scene of the blast and cordoned it off. They combed the area in search of any other explosives.

Also in Fayyoum, bomb experts defused a highly-explosive bomb that was planted by unidentified people near the civil status department and Fayyoum University
