Two policemen were wounded as a home-made bomb went off on Sunday morning near the entrance to Shams Sporting Club, close to the Alf Maskan area of eastern Cairo.
This came as Egypt is marking the fourth anniversary of the January 25 revolution that toppled president Hosni Mubarak.
