Border guards continued confronting smugglers, criminal elements and saboteurs who seek to harm the national security.

The border guards destroyed 12 new tunnels in North Sinai and seized various amounts of drugs in several districts nationwide.

Also, they organized the entry of 3,846 vehicles loaded with various goods into Kerem Shalom to the Gaza Strip.

The border guards also seized 17 bird-shot guns, 11 bullets, satellite communication devices and smuggled medical metal piece devices.

They also thwarted attempts by 707 persons, including 677 Egyptians, 21 Sudanese nationals, seven Palestinians and two Libyans to illegally immigrate from the country.

All legal procedures were taken.
