A total of 191 Syrian refugees, mostly women, children and the elderly, entered Jordan through various illegal border points over the past 48 hours.
Military media office said in a statement on Wednesday that the border guards provided the refugees who entered into the Kingdom with emergency aid and transferred them to refugee camps.
Meanwhile, Head of the Syrian Refugees Directorate at the Jordanian Interior Ministry Wadhah al Hamoud said as many as 298,800 Syrian refugees received magnetic cards whether staying inside or outside camps.
The total number of Syrian refugees in Jordan has reached 1.384 million since the outbreak of the bloody strife in Syria.
