Boy killed, 9 injured in Yemeni rocket attack on Saudi city

A boy was killed and nine family members were injured when a rocket fired from the Yemeni territories hit their house in the southern Saudi city of Najran on Sunday.

Civil defense spokesman Ali al Shahrani said the rocket hit a house of a Saudi citizen in Najran, killing an 11-year-old boy and injuring nine of his family members.

Saudi Arabia’s southern areas are subjected to frequent attacks from the Yemeni territories, launched by Houthi militias and forces of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
