The brother of Libyan Justice Minister Mabrouk Ghraira was kidnapped on Friday by unidentified gunmen in Beni Walid city in western the country.

The kidnappers were riding a vehicle when they hijacked the retired officer, a security source said.

There is no official word so far on the reasons behind the kidnapping or the identity of hijackers, he added.
