A Brotherhood affiliate was arrested early Thursday when three explosive devices mistakenly went off while manufacturing them.

Inhabitants in Cairo's Matariya district seized the 33-year-old man and prevented him from fleeing until police forces came.

Inspecting his apartment, police forces found explosive materials.

During initial investigations, the man - who works as an accountant- admitted that he is a Brotherhood affiliate and the explosives have mistakenly went off while assimilating them.
