Cairo - Arab Today
The documents which were found at the premises of the terrorist Brotherhood group showed that the group was running the state affairs, said the head of the state's committee tasked with appraising and freezing the funds of the banned organization Ezzat Khamis.
The Brotherhood's guidance office, the presidency, the government and the Freedom and Justice Party were running the state's affairs during this time, he told a press conference held on Sunday at the State Information Service.
He, meanwhile, said that these four bodies were just four faces of the same coin and there was no separation of power between the presidency, the party, the guidance office and the government.
The documents found at the Brotherhood's premises also showed that there were confidential papers which were leaked from the presidency and related to national security, he added.
