Cabinet approves hosting UN Biodiversity Conference by Egypt

The cabinet approved in its meeting held on Thursday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail of hosting the United Nations (UN) Biodiversity Conference in 2018 and offering the needed funding for that.

This comes in the framework of Egypt's pioneering role at the regional and international levels and backing the international efforts exerted to save the biodiversity in the whole world and achieve sustainable development.

The three-week conference is held once every two years where 12.000 participants take part in the event.
