Meeting under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, the Cabinet discussed on Tuesday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Kuwait.
Ministers focused on talks Sisi had with Kuwaiti officials on means of boosting cooperation between Cairo and Kuwait.
They also touched upon Sisi's invitation for Kuwait to attend an Egyptian economic conference, slated for March.
The ministers also reviewed the outcome of a meeting between Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the executive committee of the Federation of Arab Journalists on December 30.
The Cabinet meeting also tackled efforts exerted by the Foreign Ministry to free Egyptians kidnapped in Libya.
