The cabinet on Friday denied rumors claiming that salaries of state employees will be delayed after parliament turned down a Civil Servants bill.

Spokesman for the cabinet Hossam Qawish said that salaries of January and February will be cashed on time.

The House of Representatives rejected on Wednesday the Civil Servants bill after the majority of MPs voted against it - 332 out of 468.
