The cabinet held its weekly meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to review a number of political, economic, social and security files.

Ministers discussed reports on the implementation of national mega projects and services offered to citizens.

They particularly reviewed efforts to secure basic needs and commodities for citizens at low prices. 

The meeting also tackled a number of resolutions and follow-up measures to implement the orders of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the First National Youth Conference that was held in Sharm el Sheikh in October.

The conferees also reviewed means of containing the repercussions of the torrential rain-hit areas.
