Cabinet okays amending executive regulations of charcoal kiln

The Cabinet approved during its meeting Thursday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on amending the executive regulations of charcoal kiln. 

The move aims to implement the best available practices in the Egyptian market as a first phase for working with advanced furnaces within year.

It also allows export for establishments, which are environmentally compatible in light of the state's plan to adjust the status of the charcoal kilns.

The Cabinet also approved forming committees at the various governorates in order to receive requests of issuing the necessary licenses for the advanced charcoal kilns. 

The Cabinet approved extending the grace period for exporting the charcoal for three months.
