Military spokesman Mohamed Samir said on Saturday that a cache containing explosives and artillery has been detected on Mount Om Hassira near el Qamissa area in Central Sinai.

Thirty-two sacks of highly-explosive TNT have been found inside the cache, which belongs to terrorist elements, Samir said in a statement.

The seized items have been referred to bodies concerned, Samir said, adding that legal measures will be taken.
