Train traffic on Cairo-Alexandria train line returned to normal on Sunday shortly after it was suspended following a bomb blast.
A bomb attached to railway tracks at Kafr el Zayat station blew up, causing a twist of one of the tracks and disrupting the movement.
Sappers also found another explosive device but they managed to defuse it.
More police patrols were deployed in train stations to secure them.
