Cairo Governor Galal Saeed Moustafa is following up the evacuation of Ramses Square from street vendors and the removal of all road obstructions.

Cairo police with the help of the Armed Forces are taking part in clearing streets off peddlers.

An alternative place for the vendors was provided in Ahmed Helmi area.

The rehabilitation of the square will start within hours.
