The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation (Cairo Metro) denied on Tuesday that fire erupted on a third-line train in Al Ahram station, Heliopolis, spokesman for the company Ahmed Abdel Hady told MENA.
According to the service provider's spokesman, the report which claimed eruption of the blaze was not true, asserting underground train traffic flowed smoothly.
Abdel Hady urged media to verify information.
