Cairo Security Chief Khaled Youssef inspected the scene of a wave of small explosions that hit Helwan district on Sunday.
Three home-made bombs went off this morning in different areas in Helwan, causing damage to the front of a KFC restaurant, a school gate and an ATM.
The security director met the residents and urged them to immediately report to security agencies any suspicious objects.
