Surveillance Cameras were installed at Luxor railway station to monitor and secure the main streets around the station in the tourist hub city, president of Luxor Ali el Gazzar said Tuesday.
This decision came after a state of panic prevailed among the citizens when they found a strange object in front of a mall on a street leading to the station, he said in statements.
The object turned out to be a black bag in a plastic bag, he said.
