A Canadian military jet left Beirut Saturday carrying 162 Syrian refugees heading for Montreal, Canada, within the framework of a program decided by the Canadian government to host refugees.

The refugees were seen off at the airport by the Canadian ambassador in Lebanon and a number of the members of the Canadian embassy here.

These trips will continue during the coming period.
