Egyptians gather near a damaged car bomb

Security forces in el-Arish, North Sinai foiled Tuesday an attempt to detonate a car bomb in a populated area.
A security patrol suspected in a taxi parking in one of the city streets.
Conducting a check on the car, the security patrol's personnel discovered it was stolen.
Security forces cordoned off the zone around the car and evacuated residents, after sappers discovered it contained explosives.
The car was remotely detonated by explosive experts.
No injuries were reported.
Security forces were heavily deployed to identify culprits.
