Cairo - MENA
The Tahrir Garage has been opened for public, Cairo governor Galal Moustafa el-Saeid said Saturday, adding that cars will be allowed free lots until Monday morning.
Saeid said Cairo police will secure entrances and exits of the garage and Tahrir Square.
The garage has electronic gates and digital cameras installed, the governor said.
The governor, who inaugurated the garage earlier Saturday in the presence of the prime minister, called for a minute of silence in mourning over martyrs of the Arish attack.
