An explosive charge went off Saturday in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuwaid, injuring a nine-year-old child, said security sources.

Meanwhile, unidentified men shot a 25 year old man in Rafah city.

Both of the injured were sent to hospitals for treatment and the prosecution was notified to probe the two incidents, the sources added.
