Chinese President Xi Jinping and his accompanying delegation left the House of Representatives after a short visit to the parliament.

The visit is aimed at congratulating the newly-elected MPs on the convening of sessions.

Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal received the visiting president at the House HQ.
