Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese delegated on Monday Shubra el Kheima Bishop Morqos, leading a church delegation, to the Saudi Embassy in Cairo to offer condolences over the death of Saudi King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz.
The pope had mourned the monarch in an earlier statement, describing him as a wise man.
