A citizen succumbed to his injures in Fayyoum general hospital as a result of the bomb placed by unknown terrorists on a bridge in Fayyoum last Wednesday.

The citizen identified as Amar Abdel Menim, 19, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit but his health condition was serious and he succumbed to his injuries, said health ministry undersecretary Mohamed Abdel Mohsen.

In recent months, dozens of small bombs have been planted by militants, targeting security personnel as well as electricity pylons and other places.
