Clashes broke out on Tuesday morning in Arsal between the Lebanese Army and militants, the National News Agency reported.
Army units were trying to regain the legal courthouse building which had fallen in the hands of militants, as well as the customs building surroundings in Arsal.
The army yesterday barricaded most of the hills on the eastern mountaneous chain in Arsal in order to choke the militants.
