Clashes erupted in the cities of Bethlehem, Ramallah, Hebron, Jerusalem, Nablusand Qalqilya in solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza strip.
In Bethlehem, clashes erupted in Rachel’s Tomb as every other night this week. Several protesters suffered from suffocation last night from the tear gas shot by the army. The clashes have been taking place after Iftar dinner, around 9-10pm. Several people have been injured with live ammunition and rubber bullets this week.
In Hebron, south of the West Bank, clashes erupted in several areas of the province, Beit Ummar, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Halhoul and Bani Enaem.Local sources reported that the protesters set fire totwo Israeli military jeeps in Al Arroub refugee camp and Beit Ummar.
In Ramallah, clashes erupted in Qalandia refugee camp, Silwad village and Atara checkpoint, between the IOF and the Palestinian youth. Several Palestinians were injured with rubber bullets and suffered from suffocation from the tear gas.
In Qalqilya, clashes erupted in the entrance of Azoun village, and several Palestinians were injured with rubber bullets and suffocated from the tear gas. The same thing happened during the clashes in the Hawara checkpoint, near Nablus.
Additionally, clashes erupted in Shuafat and Abu Dis villages during demonstrations to protest against the Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. Several Palestinians were injured with rubber bullets and tear gas.
Local sources reported that the IOF shot Adham Erekat in his head and subsequently arrested him, while he was in a Palestinian Ambulance on the way to Ramallah hospital. The same sources added that he is in serious condition.
