Iraq's cabinet approved during a meeting on Tuesday under Prime Minister Haider al Abadi the "National Guard" bill and sent it to the state Shoura Council for revision before referring it to the house of representatives.
The cabinet also agreed to form a committee to amend "the governorates council" law no. 21.
