Egypt's ambassador to the United Nations said that the completion of the country's roadmap is a quantum leap on the way to realize democracy and stability.
Ambassador Amr Ramadan made the remarks during a meeting with a number of journalists and reporters in Geneva.
The implementation of the roadmap has been coincided with intensive efforts to revive the Egyptian economy through a number of national projects, mainly the New Suez Canal, the new administrative capital and the reclamation of 1.5 million feddans, the diplomat said.
The meeting tackled the latest developments in the Middle East and Egypt's vision to counter the crises in the region, including Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen.
Ramadan called for concerted efforts to restore stability in the region through supporting the political solution in Syria, resuming peace process in Palestine, supporting peace deal in Libya and backing the legitimate government in Yemen.
