A conscript was injured on Tuesday after an explosive device exploded at a police patrol at the entrance of Sheikh Zuweid city in North Sinai governorate, according to security sources.

The explosive charge was planted by unidentified men on Arish-Rafah road, the sources added.

The injured police personnel was moved to the military hospital in Arish for treatment, the sources underlined.
