The criminal court on Sunday adjourned to April 19 the trial of the accused killers of a police officer in Ismailia. The nine defendants' defense team has filed a judicial recusal motion and the court said it will rule on this during the April session. Officer Ahmed Doma was gunned down during a chase of a band of outlaws in a crackdown in the Suez Canal city. His killers, who shot him in the heart, fled, but police forces were able to track them down just a few hours after their crime.
