President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

The general union for Copts for homeland hailed Wednesday the visit paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's to the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo's Abbassiya district to greet Christians on the Eastern Christmas.
They said the move by the president evidently proved Egypt's tendency toward establishing a civil state, that does not discriminate citizens on their religions.
Praising Sisi's speech, the union said the country should focus its efforts in renouncing all kinds of sectarianism.
