The Coptic Orthodox Church of the central-south East Coast of the US mourned the 21 Egyptian Copts who were beheaded by Daesh militants in Libya.
In a statement, Anba Michael expressed condolences to the families of the victims, saying the church will continue prayers till peace prevails in Egypt and the rest of world.
He said memorial prayers will be held for the Egyptian victims today.
The Egyptian House in California will also hold a Mass for the victims.
