The Egyptian Council of Churches has greeted Egyptians on the Lesser Bairam.

The council wishes all Muslims a happy feast, said its secretary general Bishoy Helmy in a statement Wednesday.

He prayed for Egypt's prosperity and stability.

Helmy also urged Egyptians to unite in the face of terrorism.
