Cairo - MENA
A Cairo cassation court turned down an appeal filed by the son of deposed president Mohamed Morsi against a ruling sentencing him to one year in prison over drug charges.
Abdullah, Morsi's youngest son, was arrested in March 2014 along with a friend in a car with two rolled hashish cigarettes in their possession in the Qalubiya city of Obour.
A court in the Nile delta city of Banha slapped a one-year-prison sentence against the pair over drug charges.
