Twenty-six members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) were sentenced to life imprisonment on Thursday for inciting violence, clashing with policemen and burning the Church of St. George in Sohag following the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013.

Sohag criminal court sentenced also 67 MB members to 15 years and 26 others to 10 years in jail on the same charges.

Of all, 68 defendants attended the court session, while 51 others are still at large.
