A criminal court in Minya adjourned on Monday the trial of Muslim Brotherhood deputy leader Mahmoud Ezzat and 16 other members of the blacklisted organization to May 11.
The court will issue its verdict into the case in the next hearing on that date.
Ten defendants were present at Monday's session while seven others are tried in absentia.
The defendants are tried for forming a terror cell and joining a terrorist organization.
