Minya security forces launched a wide-scale crackdown to provide security in this Upper Egyptian province.
Six perpetrators of attacks on police stations and public facilities following the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-in camps were arrested in the campaign.
Also, 18 firearms were seized and 1,956 traffic violations were handled by the troops.
A drug dealer was also nabbed.
