Security forces arrested an armed criminal gang before attempting to kidnap a trader.

Police received a tip-off that a gang is planning to abduct a textile merchant to ask for a ransom.

Police cracked down on the gang while waiting in one of side roads till the arrival of the trader to kidnap him.

They seized two machine guns, 36 bullets and a birdshot rifle.

All legal procedures were taken against them.
