North Sinai governor Abdel Fattah Harhoor said Saturday the nightlong curfew imposed over el Arish and most of North Sinai remained unchanged.
The governor denied reports on extending curfew hours to start at 5 pm.
Assistant Interior Minister Ahmed Samih Bashady, Security chief Fouad Othman and other local officials also denied there were any changes.
